On the occasion of the November 11th, the Day of the signing of the Armistice in World War I, Ambassador B. Branković, along with members of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and Defense Attaché’s Office in Bucharest, organized the laying of wreaths on the Memorial Mausoleum of the First Serbian Volunteer Division in Medgidiа.

As in previous years, revealing military honors to the fallen Serbian volunteers were conducted with a very well organized military protocol, in the presence of Deputy Commander of 53rd Aviation Regiment, located in Medgidia.

Beside the delegation of the Embassy of Republic of Serbia, delegations of the Union of Serbs in Romania, the League of the Serbian- Romanian friendship, Department of National Defense of Romania, local authorities from Medgidia, Russian Defense Attaché’s Office in Romania etc, also laid wreaths at the Memorial Mausoleum, on this occasion.
