On the 22 April 2014, the second edition of the “Days of Serbian Film” was opened in the Bucharest Peasant Museum. This manifestation, which has now become traditional, was organized by the League of Romanian-Serbian Friendship, with the support of Romanian National Center for Cinematography, the Peasants Museum and the Embassy of Serbia.

Ambassador Branković opened the festival, while the vice-president of the League of Romanian-Serbian Friendship, Mr. Dragan Krstić, and the General Manager of the Peasants Museum, Dr. Virgil Niţulescu, also spoke at the opening. The opening was followed by the projection of the movie “Circles” (“Krugovi”), by Srdjan Golubovic. After the projection one of the actors, Marko Janketić, answered several questions from the audience.

The festival will last for three days, until 24 April, and apart from the “Circles”, six other Serbian movies will be showed to the Romanian audience – “Ice” (“Led”), “The Forgerer” (“Falsifikator”), “Withering” (“Odumiranje”), “Love Comes After” (“Ljubav dolazi kasnije”), “Mamaros” and “Undressing” (“Skidanje”).
